Murder mystery escape rooms provide an excellent opportunity for team building. As players work together to solve the mystery, they must communicate effectively, collaborate, and trust each other. These skills are valuable in all aspects of life, from the workplace to personal relationships.

Murder at Madgrove Manor is a whodunnit escape game made for teens and adults. Players will build problem-solving and reasoning skills by solving nine puzzles and the final clue to whodunnit!  There are two versions of this game, a traditional printable paper version, and a virtual game that can be played with one link.

What's it about?

Welcome to Mystic Harbor, a town that's been shaken by a brutal murder that took place at the home built by Augustus Madgrove's great-great-grandfather. The news of Augustus and his beautiful wife Edna's murder has left the entire town trembling with fear, and now it's up to you to solve the mystery and bring the killer to justice.

The stakes are high as you step into the mansion where the grand party was held, with many influential members of Mystic Harbor in attendance. It's clear that the killer is still at large, and there's no telling who they could be. As you look around the mansion, you realize that there are cryptic clues left behind by the psychopathic killer in nine different locations, and you must solve each one in order to discover the identity of the murderer.

Or printed version!

The clock is ticking, and time is of the essence. You know that if you don't solve each of the clues and discover the murderer in time, another member of the household will be murdered. The pressure is on, and you must work quickly and efficiently to unravel the mystery before it's too late.

You will receive three hints for each puzzle. In the virtual game they will appear as buttons, roughly every 2-3 minutes. As a printable game you can hand out the printed clue strips as often as you'd like.

As you make your way through the mansion, you begin to piece together the clues that the killer has left behind. Each clue is more challenging than the last, and you must use your wit and cunning to solve them all.

As the sun begins to set, you realize that time is running out. You must solve the final clue and discover the identity of the killer before they strike again. With only minutes to spare, you race to the final location, where you confront the killer and bring them to justice.

In the end, you successfully solved the murder mystery and saved the remaining members of the household from harm. Mystic Harbor can rest easy knowing that justice has been served. But the memory of the Madgrove murder will linger on, a reminder that even in a small town like Mystic Harbor, danger can lurk behind closed doors.
